I'm Leslie Williams, a versatile designer with a sixteen-year professional history of working in design. My experience spans an assortment of sectors and disciplines, contributing to web and mobile platforms for a variety of customers and brands. My expertise in the industry, along with my history of collaboration with multidisciplinary groups comprised of product management, marketing, and engineering, allows for effective alignment of corporate goals with user needs. To this end, I am adept at creating uncomplicated yet thorough comprehensive solutions end-to-end.
In addition to creating and managing design systems, I've honed my skills in bridging the divide between engineering, design, and product, ensuring that all key players are unified and moving forward together. My passion for my work is immense, as I'm perpetually seeking innovative methods to enhance the user experience, while exploring and experimenting with fresh platforms, trends, and ideas. You'll find that my communication skills are top-notch, I'm an excellent team contributor, and I'm profoundly committed to the growth of the company and the prosperity of its consumers.
When I’m not pushing pixels, I run an online design education platform called Ovalay Academy where students are empowered to kickstart their creative journeys. You can also find me managing a telegram community of badass designers called Design JobCaster, giving talks at events & twitter spaces, reading comics, and cheering for Arsenal Football Club every other weekend.
